Color Palette: Pink, Blue and Gold

Not being partial to pink and blue together, I do have to say this color palette isn’t bad. When paired with gold, pink and blue has a more elegant and formal look that’s perfect for a spring or winter celebration.

Green, gold and cream make up this formal color palette. I envision an event in a formal garden with incredible elegant details. Perhaps gold velvet chairs at the head table and luxurious linens on the tables.

A few weeks ago I received my new issue of Pointe Magazine and fell in love with the color on the cover. Maria Riccetto’s dress, along with the background color is just about as fun and spring-y as you can get. This color palette was inspired by the cover of Pointe, located in the top center of the color palette. As I was making this palette, I decided to throw little hints of gray into the mix just to see how I liked it, and I think that would be a definite option for an added color to this palette. What do you think?

Color Palette: Cream, Grey and Black

Inspired by the image in the top left corner, this board is all about a formal black tie affair. I envision a violinest playing during the ceremony and sit down dinner, men in tuxedos and the women in long formal dresses, the bride in a full lavish gown with ruffles down the back.

For this color palette I was completely inspired by vintage pearls. I combined the creamy color of pearls with soft pink and elegant gold for a timeless and classic look.
