This is an inspiration board we did for a client who is having a traditional Indian wedding in Monaco. Her wedding is to take place at two lavish venues, and she wanted to inspiration board to reflect that, as well as her color scheme which is Sepia, Antique Rose and Taupe. I loved how her board came out, so I wanted to share it with you today.

Color Palette: Cream, Grey and Black

Inspired by the image in the top left corner, this board is all about a formal black tie affair. I envision a violinest playing during the ceremony and sit down dinner, men in tuxedos and the women in long formal dresses, the bride in a full lavish gown with ruffles down the back.

For this color palette I was completely inspired by vintage pearls. I combined the creamy color of pearls with soft pink and elegant gold for a timeless and classic look.

Color Palette: Soft Grey, Black and Mint

Grey can sometimes be thought of as a modern color, but here it’s very feminine when paired with a mint green, light pink and black. The black adds a bit of classic style to an otherwise whimsical palette.

Color Palette: Gray and Apple Green

When paired together, green and gray can make an elegant combination with a hint of modern. Green apples are a nice, budget friendly way to add color to your decor and clippings of bright green foliage work well in bud vases. I love the idea of using silver candelabras to fancy the decor up a bit, however this color scheme can also be played down to a more casual affair as well.

Color Palette: Venetian Glamour

I have a complete fascination with Venice and Italy in general, so I was very excited to create this inspiration board/color palette. I think a combination of grayish white, red, gold and black would be wonderful here, and not compete with the surrounding of extraordinary colors.
