Ever since I saw the post about Mary McDonald on Elements of Style, I’ve been completely head over heels for her work. I immediately went out and bought Mary’s book and it does not disappoint. Mary’s interiors are so chic, eclectic and full of amazing details and colors. How AWESOME is that red office?

One of the things I noticed Mary does a lot of, is incorporating blue and white porcelain into her decor. I love this idea, because blue and white can go with so many color combinations, and can add that eclectic feel to your home or wedding decor.

This wedding by Jonathan Canlas used blue and white china for their reception tables, and I think it turned out really nice. I think piecing together 3-4 different shaped vases or containers in the blue and white would look amazing. Hopefully this is a new trend that stays, as I love blue and white porcelain!

Gone are the days of the glass punch bowl, as we welcome in the new drink dispenser, the chic glass container. These simple and vintage looking pieces are perfect for holding beverages at parties of any kind, and make for some beautiful and fun pictures. Definitely more interesting than your average punch bowl!

I did some searching around, and found some places that sell these beautiful containers, all with varying prices:

The one pictured above runs for about $55.

One of the most requested materials for invitations this year has been lace. I’ve always loved lace, and the fact that it can be dressed up or down for a formal or casual celebration. Lace has been one of my favorite materials to work with for quite some time now so I’ve been really excited at all the lace invitation requests I’ve had this year. I’m always thinking of new and fun ways to use it in invitation design. Below are some of our lace invitations.
