Danielle and Erik were married earlier this year in a stunning wine country celebration. You may remember their invitation we designed and shared a while back here.
I am incredibly excited to share their wedding with you today. Photographed by Mary Jane Photography, and coordinated by Joy Proctor of Joy de Vivre Weddings, this celebration is full of ornate details, soft colors, and inspiration galore.

Ah Mexico. A land of delicious cuisine, beautiful weather and pristine beaches. This was the location my clients Brittany and Javier chose for their June wedding. I’m so excited to share this beautiful real wedding with you from my client’s Meredith and Brian who were married on July 9th! Meredith loved an invitation she had seen on my website and wanted to customize it a little bit for her own wedding. She loved the architecture of the church and wanted to incorporate that onto the invitation somehow. I’m always fascinated by the beautiful circular windows that a lot of churches have. They are all so different, yet with the same elements. I love that about them. I thought it would be fun to incorporate the window from the church they were to be married in, onto their reply card and belly band.
For their programs, in keeping along the lines with the architecture of the church, we did a fun die cut shape so the program was actually a church window. Their programs were another one of my favorites. Loved the end result!

This set of images is so incredibly sweet.
Meredith and Brian’s ceremony venue was the absolutely beautiful St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Dallas Texas. In the image below you can see the window that I incorporated onto the stationery.
The reception was held at Arlington Hall at Lee Park. The chandeliers in this venue are absolutely stunning, as you’ll see in some of the shots coming up.
Always love seeing people out on the dance floor having fun.

You may remember this invitation suite from my post Monday. Well today I am excited to share the wedding with you! Photographed by Boston wedding photographer Allana Taranto of Ars Magna Studio, this wedding was all about vintage elegance and charm. It took place at the Boston Park Plaza and Towers.

I had the pleasure of working with Cari and Jared on their wedding day signs, and I had so much fun working with them! Cari is a total sweetheart, and when she sent me her wedding pictures, taken by the brilliant Joy Marie Photography, I was completely in awe. I love everything about Cari’s wedding from the flowers to the awesome location, and Joy‘s talent is simply incredible. Her images are full of life, love, and incredible compositions. A while back 100 Layer Cake featured this wedding, photographed by Michele M. Waite, and I have to say it’s one of my favorite weddings to date simply because of the way the color scheme was done. The bride, Melanie, wanted a wedding that was bright and vibrant, but also soft and timeless. I love how she put the wedding party in fun and vibrant colors…
…and used soft muted tones for the reception…
You would think that these colors might clash, but on the contrary, it’s quite stunning! This just goes to show that you don’t have to have one set color scheme for both your ceremony and reception. I hope we see a growing trend of multiple color schemes for weddings. It’s such fun and definitely keeps things fun for the guests.

Last year I had the pleasure of working with Hayley and Cameron on their wedding invitations, and they were such a delight to work with! They chose one of Zenadia Design‘s existing invitation designs, and we went to work making it custom for them. Hayley recently sent me some of her wedding pictures and I am so delighted to share them with you today! The wedding took place in Australia, where Hayley and Cameron are from, at Stones of the Yarra Valley, a beautiful vineyard with a chapel and fully restored and renovated barn. Hayley’s friend was the photographer, and Hayley and Cameron made the cake themselves. The cake was extra special to them because it was Hayley’s nan’s recipe, and the cake topper was from her nan’s cake. Below are some shots from the big day. Enjoy!

Built in 1876, Vibiana was once a fully functional Catholic cathedral until it suffered minor damage in the 1994 Northridge earthquake. After the earthquake, it was deemed unsafe and was on the brink of being completely destroyed when a group of Los Angeles conservationists rallied to save it. It now stands today completely restored and utterly beautiful in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.

On to part II of Jean and Michael’s amazing wedding celebration, captured by the insanely talented Ben Chrisman and Erin Reed of Ben Chrisman Photography. Again here is a little refresher of the invitation we designed for Jean and Michael.
