I initially saw these absolutely amazing boutonnieres on 100 Layer Cake and knew I had to share them with you. These are by far, some of the most creative boutonnieres I have ever seen. Knowing not all grooms want to wear a flower on their wedding day, floral designer Erin Rosenow has launched her line of completely creative and non-floral boutonnieres, Fritts Rosenow. Beautiful Boutonnieres

Boutonnieres come in all shapes, sizes and colors. They are beautiful petite flower arrangements worn by the groom, groomsmen and immediate family members on the wedding day. Traditionally, a boutonniere was worn pushed through the buttonhole of a jacket, but in modern times is often pinned onto a jacket lapel. These little lovelies were frequently worn in the past, but now are typically reserved for special occasions.
A bridegroom will almost always wear a boutonniere on his left lapel. Did any of you know that? I sure didn’t and it had me looking back through my own wedding pictures to make sure my husband had his boutonniere pinned on correctly! Below are some beautiful boutonnieres, all via The Knot.

Groom; a key element for any wedding. So why is it that you don’t see many articles or blogging posts about grooms? Could it be that the majority of grooms aren’t to interested in the little details of the wedding planning? After all, it IS mostly the bride who makes the big decisions as far as decor and wedding details are concerned. But we seem to forget sometimes that the groom is supposed to look just as spiffy as the bride on his wedding day, and he shouldn’t blend in with his groomsmen just like the bride always stands out from her bridesmaids. These days grooms are wearing everything from the classic tux to khaki pants and flip flops. With so many styles out there, it should be easy to pick one that goes with the groom’s style and the style of your wedding day. Here is a board I’ve put together of different styles for grooms.
