A little while back, Wiley Valentine did a wonderful post on their blog entitled “Relax…Breath…”. The wedding industry, and life in general, is pretty stressful and sometimes it’s hard to keep calm and enjoy the pleasures in life. Hopefully we all have something that helps us relax and take the pressures off every day living. Below are some of the things that help me “Keep Calm and Carry On”, as the popular poster says.
First for foremost, ballet is my main relaxation. Watching it as well as doing it. I dance 5 nights a week and I love it with all my heart. The dancer above is Svetlana Zakharova, one of my absolute favorite dancers ever. Attending church also helps me relax. I look forward to Sunday’s every week as that’s my church/relax day. I love lavender and gardening. The lavender reminds me of the south of France, which I hope to visit some day. I’m a sucker for coconut. Add chocolate in the mix and it’s that much better. The beach is always a perfect place to relax. The picture above is from a vacation my husband and I took to Curacao, an island in the Caribbean.
I hope you all have a relaxing weekend!!
