Several years ago, the thought of not wearing a veil at your wedding was considered crazy. These days, however, some brides are opting to not wear veils at all or to wear a small one for the ceremony and no veil for the reception. I have to say, I’m still a fan of veils, at least for the wedding ceremony. Veils can add drama to wedding pictures and long cathedral length veils are simply stunning when paired with a beautiful wedding gown. For receptions, I do like the stunning hair pieces though. I like the fact that you can get two different looks with the same dress, all from just changing your hair pieces. Below is some inspiration for veils vs. no veil.

For me? To veil. I did a whole debut thing where you don the white wedding dress (don’t judge, I am from the south, it is really common and actually pretty lovely) so for me, the veil is the major signifier that this is my wedding and not another deb. Esp. cause I am a young bride.
